Kim Hyun-soo Clinic, a hospital specializing in stem cell therapy, announced on the 25th that it was selected as a “New Gangnam-gu Medical Tourism Partner Institution” at an event held at the Gangnam-gu Office in Seoul on the 24th.

Kim Hyun-soo Clinic is a medical institution that Kim Hyun-soo, CEO of PamiCell, personally opened last year in Sinsa-dong, Seoul. Based on a stem cell therapy method he devised himself, Dr. Kim developed the world’s first stem cell therapy product, “HatiCellGram-AMI,” in 2011. He opened the clinic to demonstrate the therapeutic efficacy of this treatment by applying it directly to patients.

Kim Hyun-soo Clinic was selected as a Gangnam-gu medical tourism partner institution following a comprehensive evaluation that included on-site inspections of operating room conditions and the management of key facilities, as well as assessments of the medical staff’s expertise, dedicated personnel for international patients, and multilingual medical forms. Upon being designated as a medical tourism partner institution, information—including promotional videos and brochures—will be provided to foreign medical tourists through the Gangnam Medical Tour Center, operated by the district. The clinic will also receive support for exhibitions and marketing activities held overseas.

Director Kim Hyun-soo stated, “We will strive to provide more responsible and professional medical services to foreign medical tourists and promote Korea’s high standards of stem cell therapy to the world.”

Meanwhile, Kim Hyun-soo Clinic was recently selected as a promotional hospital for B2C medical tourism promotions to Korea, hosted by the China and Russia branches of the Korea Tourism Organization, respectively.
